ADMISSION
Q: How much does it cost to attend?
A: Our event is Free. We treat all our attendees as VIP; however, if you want that extra experience click on our Eventbrite page and purchases our VIP & VVIP packages.
Q: Are tickets still available?
Yes, the free tickets will continue to be free, the VIP & VVIP packages prices increase closer to the event so you should purchase them now.
Q: Is there a charge for children?
A: NO Admission for children 12 and under are free.
Q: Why would I purchase VIP &VVIP tickets online?
A: You can only purchase these tickets online, no tickets, packages, or vendor spaces will be sold at the venue.
Q: Where can I park?
A: You can park at the venue; however, we suggest you get there early. Last year the park was so crowded people parked 15 minutes away.
Q: Can I bring a tent?
A: Yes, you may, tents will be allowed on the outside perimeter of the dance area, or you and your friends may rent one of our tents in the VVIP village and not worry about lugging a tent around all day.
Q: Can I still bring my tent into the VVIP& VIP area?
A: NO, you can have your tent in the unreserved section.
Q: I want the total VIP experience – complimentary food and beverages, air-conditioned bathrooms, proximity to the stage, yet still in the middle of the action. What are my options?
A: Go to our website or wphmf.eventbrite.com to get these tickets but hurry the will sell quickly.
Q: If I purchase a private tent package or VIP pass, can I get there early to set up?
A: Yes, your tent will have your name on it, and it will be ready as of 6 am that day.
Q: Can I rope off my tent area?
A: No! It’s a safety hazard.
ENTRY & EXIT
Q: I’m taking rideshare or taxi to the Festival; where is pick up/drop off?
A: The official pick up/drop off area for rideshares and taxis is located Elizabeth Avenue and Meeker Avenue
Q: Can I bring in my food and drinks?
A: Yes, though no glass containers are allowed on festival grounds. No propane tanks or generators, either.
Q: I don’t want to bother with a big set-up this year; can I buy food and beverages at the event?
A: Yes. Authorized vendors will be selling food and beverages.
Q: Can I sell food or beverages to others at the event?
A: No. There is no selling or other commercial activity allowed on festival grounds other than our authorized vendors and sponsors. Guests engaging in unauthorized and unlawful activity will be removed from festival grounds.
Q: Grills – how big can I go with my grill(s) and tents?
A: no commercial/industrial-size grills in the park. Also, no propane, kerosene or other gas grills are allowed.
Q: I want to sell my goods at the festival, and distribute materials about my company, organization, church or program; can I be a vendor and sell in my tent?
A: Only authorized vendors are permitted to sell merchandise/goods and distribute materials at the festival. All other commercial activity will be shut down, and unauthorized vendors/sellers will be escorted from festival grounds. Vendors participate by purchasing a vendor permit from the event organizers. Q: Can I bring my kids?
A: Absolutely; we love kids! Please note: Parents/guardians are responsible for their children at all times; a kids’ zone will be at the event.
Q: What hotels do you recommend for out-of-town guests?
A: Our event hotel will be the Robert Treat Hotel. Call 917-913-5505 for your discounted rate.
What should I Bring With Me?
• Comfy shoes for walking and dancing
• Lawn chairs, tents (no bigger than 10 x2 20), lean-tos, blankets, tables, coolers
• Food and beverages, (or, you can leave the cooking and mix up to our on-site food and beverage vendors)
• Sunscreen, hats, fans, towels, etc.
• Water, ice, and plenty of it. It will be hot!
• Extra batteries and wireless chargers for your mobile devices (you’ll be taking lots of photos and videos)
• Hand sanitizer
• Positive attitude, patience, and a smile
WHAT NOT TO BRING
• Glass bottles or glass objects
• Gas grills, gas and propane or kerosene tanks
• Kegs
• Illegal substances
• Fireworks
• Firearms
• Animals (service animals are permitted)
• Drones
• Cigars and cigs (no smoking on park grounds)
